AN EXHIBITION & SALE OF SMALL WORKS
The CURIOSITY CABINET exhibition highlights 40 artworks by 41 local artists. The Slide Room Gallery is proud to highlight a few of the numerous hardworking and dedicated artists that live and work in our city.
In English, we call it a curiosity cabinet. In German it is called a “wunderkammer”, a room of wonder. These words describe an eclectic grouping of interesting objects curated together for viewers to explore. In this diverse exhibition of small artworks, you will find paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking and installation. The subject matter represented in the CURIOSITY CABINET exhibition is as varied as the mediums: landscape, portraiture, still life, natural history, abstraction, surrealism and more.
