Daniel Hogan is a self-taught photographer who first picked up a camera with intention while living in Shanghai almost a decade ago. He developed and grew his skillset while working with international photographers, documenting events and shooting for lifestyle magazines. His artistic practice continues to be influenced by the technical training he gained through these experiences. After returning to Canada, he completed the Graphic Design program at BCIT in 2016.
Hogan’s photographs rely solely on natural and found light sources and are almost always taken while on foot. His work has been seen in multi-media shows, published online and chosen for inclusion in specialty art books.
